Moriah McStay is the author of Everything That Makes You, a speculative young adult novel that USA Today recommended for “readers who like to see the complexities of human nature”, and that Publisher’s Weekly called “entertaining and intellectually stimulating”. It has been translated into German, Italian, and Turkish. Her nonfiction essays have earned several rewards, and her poetry and fiction have been published in Anti-Heroin Chic, Hyacinth Review, and elsewhere.
She holds a B.A. from Northwestern University, an M.B.A. and M.P.P (Master’s in Public Policy) from The University of Chicago, and an M.F.A in Creative Writing from The University of Memphis, where she also served as Managing Editor of The Pinch Literary Journal. Currently, she’s pursuing her Ph.D. in Literature at The University of Memphis, where she also teaches Fiction Writing.
